Every stroke of a brush speaks the language of the painter, 
conveying their feelings, emotions, and ideas. It's a message for society, waiting to be deciphered by those who have the power to understand the intricate language of colors and strokes. Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting a young aspiring artist named Husnain Kazmi, who channels his love for nature through his brush and paints.
In today's age of social media, showcasing talents has become more accessible than ever before. What was once difficult to find a platform for expression has transformed into an opportunity with just a single stroke on a digital canvas. This can be termed as one of the positive aspects of social media.
His journey into art begins at a young age and blossomed into a passion. Despite hailing from a remote village in Mohra Bichai, Surankote, with limited resources, he found firm support from his parents and guidance from Tariq Mehmood Saifi, a renowned painting artist. Currently, a student at Govt. Degree College, Surankote, Husnain has already achieved notable success, including participating in national-level painting competitions and securing first prizes at various levels.
From the snow-clad peaks of the Pir Panjal Mountains to the flowing rivers, running streams, waterfalls, trees, forests, meadows, villages, and more—all find a place in his paintings. Every aspect of nature found in the Pir Panjal region is depicted in his art. Each color draws you in, briefly stealing you away from yourself. A true nature lover would undoubtedly understand the depth of its meaning.
Kazmi's talent and dedication to his craft have not gone unnoticed. His achievements speak for themselves, as he has received recognition on various platforms, including national-level Kala Ustav painting competitions. Additionally, he has consistently excelled in these competitions, securing first place at the division level twice and winning multiple district-level competitions. His passion for capturing the beauty of nature is evident in his unique and praiseworthy artworks that continue to impress and inspire.
His goal is not only to be a skilled artist but also to represent his state and country at the international level. As his journey on the canvas of creativity unfolds, this budding artist serves as a reminder that art surpasses boundaries and speaks a universal language.
